These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Floru (“Floru,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, browsing, registering for, or using Floru in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies or notices referenced here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You represent that you have read and understood these Terms and that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Floru on behalf of another person or an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
Floru is a pet care experience community app focused on everyday pet care topics such as feeding routines, cleaning, training, toys, companionship, grooming, and vet-visit preparation. The Service is designed to help users browse pet care posts, save helpful tips, publish their own care updates, and communicate with post authors through text or voice-to-text messages in the chat experience.
The Service may include a Home Feed, Post Detail views, a Post Composer, Chat List and Chat Detail pages, a Profile Center, moderation tools such as report and block features, a store for purchasing in-app coins through Apple’s purchase system, and access to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy through web views. Floru is a lightweight community product intended to organize practical pet care knowledge into a readable, saveable, and reviewable experience.
Floru is not a veterinary service, medical advice platform, real-time social network, marketplace for pet adoption or sale, or a substitute for professional care. Content in the Service is intended for informational and community-sharing purposes only.
You are responsible for the content, messages, images, profile details, and other materials you submit, upload, publish, or share through Floru. You must ensure that any content you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawful, and consistent with these Terms. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account-related access information and for all activity that occurs through your use of the Service.
If you interact with other users, you must do so respectfully and in a manner consistent with the purpose of the community. You may not misrepresent yourself, upload content that belongs to someone else without permission, or use the Service in a way that harms other users or the platform.
We may revise these Terms from time to time in our discretion. If we make changes, we may post the updated Terms within the Service or otherwise make them available to you. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest version in effect.
Your continued access to or use of Floru after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that Floru will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that any content, recommendation, or feature will meet your expectations.
Floru and all related software, design elements, trademarks, logos, interfaces, text, graphics, and other materials supplied by us are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for lawful purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
Certain features in Floru may involve automated, system-generated, or voice-to-text outputs, summaries, labels, rankings, or other machine-assisted results. These outputs are provided for informational and convenience purposes only and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unexpected interpretations.
We do not guarantee the completeness, correctness, reliability, or suitability of any generated result. Any reliance on such results is at your own risk, and you remain responsible for reviewing and verifying content before acting on it or sharing it with others.
You retain ownership of the content you create and submit to Floru, including posts, images, comments, profile information, and messages, to the extent permitted by law. We do not claim ownership of your user content.
However, by uploading or submitting user content, you grant Floru a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, and revocable license to host, store, reproduce, display, modify for technical formatting, transmit, and process that content solely as necessary to operate, improve, secure, and provide the Service. This license ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except to the extent retention is required for legal, security, backup, or operational purposes.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, posed a risk to other users, interfered with the Service, or for any other reason permitted by law. We may also remove content or disable features as part of moderation, safety, compliance, or operational actions.
You may stop using Floru at any time. If you wish to remove your data or account, you may use the available deletion functions where offered by the Service, subject to any required retention obligations.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Floru and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your infringement or misappropriation of any third party rights; or (e) your violation of any law or regulation.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.
You may not use Floru for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized purpose. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: attempting to interfere with the operation or security of the Service; accessing data or accounts without permission; uploading malware or malicious code; scraping, crawling, or harvesting data without authorization; using bots or automated tools to manipulate usage or content; reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code or underlying models except where legally permitted; and circumventing access controls, rate limits, or moderation systems.
You may not use the Service to post or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, threatening, obscene, sexually explicit, exploitative, hateful, discriminatory, violent, or otherwise inappropriate for a community centered on pet care. You may not impersonate others, mislead users, or use Floru to facilitate fraud, spam, scams, or unauthorized commercial promotion.
You must be at least 17 years old to use Floru, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and to use the Service in compliance with applicable law. By using Floru, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
If you are not old enough or do not have capacity to form a binding agreement, you may not use the Service. We may request proof of eligibility where appropriate and may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe a user does not meet these requirements.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Floru for your own non-commercial purposes. This permission allows you to view content, save posts, publish pet care updates, and use the community features made available by the app.
You may not use the Service for resale, agency use, commercial exploitation, or any purpose outside the intended experience of Floru unless we expressly authorize it in writing.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLO RU AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
TO THE EXTENT LIABILITY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHICHEVER IS LESS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Floru is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, that it will be uninterrupted, or that it will be free of defects, delays, data loss, or compatibility issues.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the Service, including features, content, storage, or access methods, at any time and without liability where permitted by law.
Floru may offer in-app purchases through Apple’s purchase system, including coins or other consumable virtual currency used within the app. Coins are digital, limited-purpose, non-transferable, and have no real-world cash value. They may only be used as enabled by the Service.
All purchases are processed according to Apple’s applicable billing and refund rules. Except as required by law or Apple policy, purchases are non-refundable once completed. You are responsible for any charges incurred through your account or device. We may change pricing, availability, or the use rules for virtual currency at any time.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or the Service will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction governing the provider of Floru, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent not prohibited by law.
If any local consumer protection or mandatory legal rights apply to you, nothing in these Terms is intended to limit those rights to the extent such limitation is unlawful.

Floru is a social community app that allows users to publish pet care posts, comments, profile materials, and chat messages. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you post is lawful, accurate to the extent stated, and appropriate for a community centered on pet care. You must not submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, exploitative, harassing, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, infringing, privacy-violating, spammy, promotional in a deceptive way, or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the Service.
We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to review, monitor, remove, restrict, label, limit visibility of, or refuse any user content at any time and for any reason, including when we believe content may violate these Terms or pose a risk to users or the Service. We may also use moderation tools such as reporting, blocking, filtering, or account restriction to maintain a safe community environment.
If you encounter content or behavior that concerns you, you may use in-app reporting tools where available. Reports may be reviewed by us and may result in no action, limited action, content removal, user blocking, or account enforcement depending on the circumstances. Reporting does not guarantee a specific outcome, but it helps us maintain community standards.
